IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD

By

PROVERBS 8:22-31 "The Lord possessed me in the beginning of His way, I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning,or ever the earth was. when there was no depths, I was brought forth: when there was no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills I was brought forth. While as yet He had not made the earth, nor the fields, northe highest part of the dust of the world. When He prepared the heavens, I was there: when He set a compass upon the face of the depth: when He established the clouds above: when He gave to the sea His decree, that the waters scould not pass His commandment: when He appointed the foundation of the earth: then I was by Him, and was daily His delight, rejoicing in the habitable part of the earth:"and my delights were with the sons of man."(KJV)

JOHN 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made."(KJV)

These two Scripture references are clearly telling about JESUS. That He always was from the beginning.

Some people think that JESUS wasn't around until His physical birth by the virgin Mary only some 2019 years ago.

These Scriptures tell us that He always was. He is called the "WORD" in JOHN 1:1

A God the Father created everything out of nothing, He did it by the spoken "WORD".This was JESUS, in the beginning. Later after the world had become overly sinful God the Father told JESUS (the second part of the Triune God) to leave heaven and go to earth, which He did obediently. And was conceived by the Holy Ghost ( the third part of the Triune God) and was born in the flesh and at that time He was named JESUS (EMMANUEL)

JESUS thru the conception of the Holy Ghost became the only Begotten Son of God. His birth on this earth was to fulfill God's Plan for redemption for all who would believe in Him.

JOHN 3:16,17 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world: but that the world thru him might be saved."(KJV)

JESUS came lived taught of His Father's love and mercy and that their way to heaven was thru JESUS.

God was not out to punish the world, but to give everyone a chance to believe in JESUS and to go to heaven. Those who choose not to believe in JESUS have chosen not to go to heaven by rejecting JESUS.

Our commission as children of God, true saved Christians is to go forth and teach all Nations baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.

To give the "Good News of Salvation" to all who will hear and pray that all that those hear- will accept JESUS as their Savior.

Have you heard and accepted the "Good News"?
