I CHANGE NOT

By

MALACHI 3:9 "For I am the Lord, I change not... (KJV).

There are three things that the Lord requires of men (souls) and they are to love him, honor him and to serve him.

PSALM 33:12 ''Blessed is the nation who's God is the Lord. (KJV)

As we look back over history we find in our Bible that those nations who made God their Lord prospered. Those nations that did not perished. This was because they refused to love, honor and serve the Lord. Some folks decided to make their own rules to follow and found that God did not change and they were overtaken.

We live in a country that started out being blessed above any other because our founding fathers started it out by making our nation whose God is the Lord. Over 200 years we recognized God's blessings on our nation, but now America is witnessing a fall away from God, looking to please self rather than God.

Changing the laws to make wrong right and right wrong. Taking certain things that are abomination to God and calling them by different names and then making them that are unacceptable to God, and acceptable to man.

Regardless to how man thinks about these things God has not changed His attitude about them.

JEREMIAH 9:6-9 "Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the Lord. Therefore thus saith the Lord, behold, I will melt them, and try them: For how shall I do for the daughter of my people? Their tongue is as a arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit; one speaketh peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait. Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this."(KJV)

Seeing the spiritual direction our nation is going, and seeing the displeasure of God toward many in this nation, would it not be that God (our Lord) is visiting our nation with displeasure? Shouldn't we be reaching out for God's blessings again? Remember MALACHI 3:9.
