Another basketball season is underway in Avon. The fifth and sixth junior high boys basketball season has begun! Coach Lindsey Fathke said, “The boys started shortly after Christmas break and have been working hard!” Due to gym space, the boys have been waking up early and getting done with practice before school starts.

Fathke said, “I appreciate their dedication! It's not easy getting up early before school. We've only had a couple games, and we've made gains in between those games. I'm excited to see the gains the boys make throughout the season.”

Participants include (5th grade) Zander Fathke, Beau Tolsma, Brenson Ratzlaff, Mason Milk, Sean Schryvers, Gabe Ireland, Jacob Sassaman, Austin Pinkelmen, and Grayson Renner; (6th grade) Easton Sees, Parker Podzimek, Hoyt Brandt, Alvin Gunter, Dominic Luff, Alexander Chaisson, and Dyson Lopez; (7th grade) Braylon Fathke, and Grayson Ratzlaff; and (8th grade) Jacob Ratzlaff, Jamisen Pelton, Nic Brandt, and Randall Powers.
