John Afalla Fathke, son of Jed and Maureen Fathke, and brother of Jack Fathke, was born on August 30, 2006. John enjoys hunting, fishing, roping, and boating during his free time. His favorite subject would have to be English because it comes easily to him. One quote John lives by is, “Life would be tragic if it weren’t funny.” Two of John’s biggest role models are his mom and dad because they always support him in whatever he does. John has made so many achievements in his high school career, but in his eyes, one outshines the rest. John’s proudest accomplishment during his time at AHS is passing all his classes, which goes hand in hand with his advice for underclassmen, “Don’t fail your classes.” After high school John plans to attend Mitchell Tech for a career in Diesel Mechanics. John’s favorite memory at AHS is watching Mr. Kuhlman get pied, and he will miss attending the pep rallies after he graduates.
