One of this week’s featured WCS seniors is Janae Robertson. Janae is the daughter of Jenny Robertson. Janae has several nicknames including Nae and Nae-Nae.

Janae’s advice to underclassmen is to stay out of the drama and do not let other change who you are. Stick with the people who have your back and care. A small group of people that have your back is better than a big group that is fake. Janae’s best high school memory was when Mr. Papousek ate her cookies and told her they were good. She wishes she would have videoed it for proof when he screamed “OMG this is awesome!” It really made her day. Janae’s pet peeve is having to repeat herself. The person that Janae admires the most is her mom, Jenny. She admires her mom because of Jenny teaching Janae how to be who she is today and always encouraging her to be herself.

Janae’s favorite color is black. Her favorite teacher is Tana Langdeaux. Rhonda’s donuts are Janae’s favorite food. Above the Covers is her favorite vocal group and favorite singer is Robbie Neswick who is her uncle. Her favorite movie is Spirit and favorite TV show is BoJack Horsemen.

After graduation, Janae plans to work for no more than two years before going to college at Mitchell Technical Institute.
