PROVERBS 1: 1-7 1) 'The proverbs of Solomon the son of David the Kink of Isreal:2) To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; 3) To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment and equity 4) to give suitability to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. 5) A wise man will hear, and will increase in learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: 6) To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and the dark sayings. ( what they mean ) 7) The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instructions.(KJ) ( A fool saith in his heart there is no God.)

JOB 28:28 'And unto man he said, behold, the fear of the Lord-that is wisdom, and depart from evil-is understanding.'( KJV) PSALM 111;10 'The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments; His praise endureth forever.'(KJV) ECCLESIASTES 12:12,13 ' Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man'(KJV) SO why do we have the BOOK OF PROVERBS?

They are given to us from the wisest man that lived--Solomon, David's son.

They are short but to the point--lessons that pertain to our spiritual actions in life. They are deep in instruction,They can be applied to us today.

The instructions given in each proverb is for our own good. They all-when studied out- lead us to understand how we can be pleasing to God. They are all lessons- when applied to ourselves today-are very helpful in our real service to the Lord and- if properly applied to our life--are blessed.

WISDOM: The quality of being wise: good judgement, based of knowledge.

This is why the BOOK OF PROVERBS is so helpful to us--it is called THE BOOK OF WISDOM.

With using the BOOK OF PROVERBS , you will become wise in God's Word.

WISE: having or showing good judgment, informed, learned.

So we can see how, profitable -referring to it regularly-to know and observe the lessons given, opened to us in this BOOK OF PROVERBS Have you opened your Bible and read it?
