The National Theme for 2024 Library Week is “Ready, Set, Library!” It promotes the idea that libraries give you the green light to enter and connect with your library community and library services.

This year the American Library Association created a more concise, streamlined set of Core Values. They focus on Access, Equity, Intellectual Freedom and Privacy, The Public Good, and Sustainability.

The Wagner Public Library Board of Trustees supports your local library operating with these Core Values in mind. The volunteer board joins the staff in their efforts to offer the best library experience they can for our town.

Current Board Members are President, Jan Twitero, Vice President, Sue Larson, Treasurer, Brad Roth, City Council Representative Rich Dufur, and Trustees, Fran Podzimek, and Marlaine Doidge. We are fortunate to have them backing us!

Keeping with our library week traditions we will be hosting our annual book sale.

We have really nice books at really reasonable prices. We also have a batch of free books.

Monday, April 8th through Friday, April 12th, we invite you to stop and shop our selection.

Library hours are week days 9:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. The library entrance is on the east side of the building. The parking lot is open from 9:00 to 3:00 after that, please use curbside parking.

It’s also tradition to offer finefree week. All overdue books can be returned and we will gladly wave your accumulated fines. We will be happy to have the books back, so others can enjoy them too. You can bring them in to the library or put them in the eagle book/flag drop on the west side of the building.
