Indigenous will be inducted into the 2020 South Dakota Rock and Roll Music Association for the Band Award.

Indigenous--Born and raised on the Ihanktonwan Nakota Nation in South Dakota, Indigenous was a family band that was formed in 1994 until 2004. It started out as a family band. Mato: guitar & vocals, brother Pte: bass, sister Wanbdi: drums, and brother Horse: percussion. They toured extensively through out the United States , and have made 4 full LPs/CDs and 1 live LP/CD and 3 EPs together... Mato continues to carry the Indigenous name as he tours the world playing guitar.

Friday, April 17 is an Exclusive Soundcheck and Jam Session featuring several Hall of Fame inductees. Doors Open at 6:30 p.m. ›Behind the Scenes soundcheck with Indigenous at 7:00 p.m. ›Inductee Jam Session at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18 is the Induction Ceremony.

The 12th annual South Dakota Rock and Roll Music Association Induction Ceremony will be held Friday and Saturday April 17th and 18th, 2020 at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall in Sioux Falls.
