Eleven high school JAG students read with residents at Lake Andes Senior Living on September 6 to celebrate National Read a Book Day. Debbie White, activities director at Lake Andes Senior Living, invited students to spend time with residents for their morning activity. She prepared discussion questions for people to use in addition to reading and provided treats for the participants.

JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) is an elective class which is part of state and national programs. JAG helps prepare students for success in education and with employment. The JAG students made bookmarks with inspirational quotes to give to the residents at Lake Andes Senior Living.
