Hope Lilly Kemnitz was born December 29, 2007. She is the daughter of Danae and Travis Kemnitz. She has one younger sibling, her sister Bailey Kemnitz. Hope said her favorite subject in school is anatomy, because she likes to learn about how the human body all works together. Hope's most challenging task in high school is trying to figure out what the next step will be after high school. In her spare time, she enjoys lifting weights whenever she can and being outside whether it's hunting, fishing or just being outside in general. One inspirational quote she lives by is, “If you're afraid to fail, you'll never succeed.” Her favorite high school activity is wrestling. One memory Hope will never forget is all the laughs during study hall and all the fun conversations in Mrs.Cahoy's class. Hope’s proudest moment in life so far is all her wrestling accomplishments, including making it to state the past two years. She got eighth place her junior year at the state tournament. She also had the opportunity to wrestle in Florida this past summer, making history as part of the first girls’ team to place at the Florida Scholastic Duels. Hope's role models are her parents, because they show her how important it is to be a good person and how to work hard for what she wants. Hope wants to be a physical therapist for her future career. She is still deciding on which college she wants to attend. One piece of advice she gives the under classmen is: "Don't take school too seriously and enjoy yourself.” One regret Hope has is not going out for wrestling sooner. Hope said, she will miss her class the most, and all the fun laughs they’ve had together.
