Avon Lady Pirates traveled to Wagner last Monday, April 17th to face off against the Raiders. The weather warmed up to give the fans a players a great afternoon at the ballpark. The Avon Lady Pirates were defeated by the Wagner Red Raiders by a score of 17-7. Macy Voigt took the loss, pitching 3 innings with 5 strikeouts. Karli DeVries finished the game with an additional 2 strikeouts. Leading hitters for the Lady Pirates were Courtney Sees and Jordyn Voigt with 2 hits apiece. Ashley Tolsma added a triple with 3 RBI’s while Macy Voigt hit the first home run of the season.
