Local volunteer firemen work to put out the fire from a house explosion Wednesday afternoon, October 30th at North Housing. (Below) Firemen begin to cut the rafters from the roof with a chainsaw as they prepare to lift off the roof in order to gain access to the basement area of the home. The two individuals home at the time of the explosion, Aurora Denneyand her daughter Natalyce Denney, age 3, (previously of Lake Andes) died in the home from the explosion which is still under investigation.
