It will be “beginning to look a lot like Christmas” in Lake Andes on Friday, Dec. 6th. The Lakers Club of Lake Andes is sponsoring the following Holiday Activities:

• Kids Free Movie at the Community Center 4-6pm, sponsored by the City of Lake Andes.

• First Annual Holiday Parade of Lights will begin at 6 pm. Line-up will take place at the Lake Andes Health Care Center and proceed past the city park and conclude at the Christmas tree on Main Street. The theme this year will be Holiday/Christmas songs. The parade is open to entries by families, businesses, farms, organizations, etc. The only requirement is the entry needs to be lighted.

• Lighting of the City Christmas tree. The tree will be set up on the empty lot at 3rd Ave and Main Street. The lighting will take place at 6:30 or as soon as the parade concludes.

• Customer Appreciation Drawings will be held at 7:00. Businesses in Lake Andes will have tickets available for their customers starting after November 13th up until 3:00 on Friday, Dec. 6th. Must be present to win.
