On Sunday, November 23rd, Mrs. Schultz brought eighteen members of the high school choir to the Mitchell Theater to see Wicked: For Good. The students were excited for a chance to experience the beloved story on the big screen, and the outing offered a fun way to connect outside the classroom. It was a wonderful opportunity for the choir to see how storytelling, character, and music blend together to create an emotional and memorable performance. Beyond the entertainment value and watching the students consume large amounts of popcorn, the movie also sparked meaningful conversations among the students. Themes of friendship, courage, perspective, and standing up for what’s right resonated strongly, offering valuable lessons that can be carried over into their personal lives. . Overall, the trip was a rewarding and uplifting experience for everyone involved.
