MATTHEW 12: 14 to 23 14) 'Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him 15) But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; 16) And charged them that should not make him known: 17) That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esias the Prophet saying 18)Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles.

(19) he shall not strive, nor cry, neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

(20) A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quince send forth judgment unto victory.

(21) And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

(22) Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind and dumb, and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw (23) And the people were amazed, and said, is not this the son of David?(KJV) As we read in Verse 16--Jesus 'charged them that they should not make him known'.

It was not His reason that He came, not to be a celebrate who performed miracles--but to ' seek and save that which was lost' But He charge them He did, but they did not listen spreading all around all the miracles that He had done. So multitudes followed Him, where ever He went--hoping to see another miracle.

Verses 18 t0 n21 tell of Who He would be by the prophet Esias. The Gentiles would trust in His Name.

Today our Bible tells us that eventually everyone everywhere will believe in Jesus and in His Name they will all bow and know that J4esus is the Son of God. And His Name is above all other names.

We are not told' not to make him known' but we are instructed to spread His Name and His lole to every one who will listen hopefully they will believe, repent and be saved.
