Local farmers are busy reaping the rewards of their labor as the corn and soybeans are ready for harvest. Avon Farmers Pride Cooperative manager Kevin Tjeerdsma reported, "Things are starting to get busy. We have been getting beans and corn. Yields vary depending how much rain you got in your area during the year. Beans yields range from 20 to 60 and corn 80 to 180 bushels to the acre." Photo by Brady Petrik
