Greer Unit #11 American Legion Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on December 18 at the Post Home with 14 members present.

President Alyssa Mathis called the meeting to order. Chaplain Margie Stone read the opening prayer. The Pledge of Allegiance and American Legion Auxiliary Preamble were recited in unison.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. The Treasurer's report was given and approved.

It was reported the membership has reached the goal of 93 members.

Correspondence was read from District President Karen Richelieu.

Linda Youngbluth reported Thanksgiving and Christmas cards had been sent to Veterans and Auxiliary members in nursing homes.

Thank you to all auxiliary members that furnished a salad or dessert for the meal at the December meeting. Also, a thank you for members for the donation of hygiene items for the ROCS pantry and school supplies for the school project.

Kathy Geiman won the basket and donated it back to the Children and Youth Fund.

As there was no further business to come before the meeting, Chaplain Margie Stone read the prayer for peace and President Alyssa Mathis adjourned the meeting.
