Membership chairman, Barbara Kucera, reported that we had 88 paid members. Our goal was 82.

Correspondence was read from District 8 President Karen Richlieu.

A thank you was received from Owen Bekanich for the care package that the auxiliary sent to him while he is stationed in Germany. Also, a thank you was given to those who helped clean the Legion Hall’s kitchen and those who helped cook and furnish salads for the March meal as it was the Legion’s Birthday.

There was discussion on the setting up of the booth for the Farm, Home and Garden show on March 27.

The auxiliary is sponsoring three junior girls from the Wagner Community School to attend Girls State this year at the end of May. They are Ali Myer, Romiah Heth and Jennifer Feucht-Thooft.

The annual soup and sandwich luncheon, bake sale and raffle will be held on April 3 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

The following members were elected to the auditing committee: Sandy Seiner, Shelby Mach and Alyssa Mathis. Bonnie Soukup, Kathy Geiman and Jeanette Fuchs will serve on the nominating committee.

The District Spring meeting will be held in Tabor on March 29.

Margie Stone won the basket and donated it back to the children and youth fund.
