Greer Unit #11, American Legion Auxiliary met on March 16, 2023 at the Post home with 13 members present.

Prior to the meeting, the Auxiliary served the March meal and provided a cake honoring the Legion's 104th Birthday.

The meeting was called to order by President Linda Youngbluth.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved a correction was made.

Treasurer's report was given and approved.

Bills were presented for payment. Margie Stone made motion to pay bills. Motion was seconded and carried.

Membership chairman Barbara Kucera reported we have 77 paid members. Goal is 77.

Community Service Chairman, Margie Stone reported appropriate cards had been spent.

Correspondence was read from District President Karen Richelieu.

Final details for the soup and sandwich luncheon, bake sale and raffle to be held on March 20, 2023 from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. were discussed.

The District 9 Spring meeting will be held in Springfield on April 1, 2023. Auxiliary delegates will be Linda Youngbluth, Barbara

The State Convention will be held on June 9-11, 2023 at Oacoma.

Poppy days in Wagner will be May 18 and 19, 2023.

President Linda Youngbluth will be sending Easter cards to our Legion and Auxiliary members in the nursing homes.

Carol Tolliver won the basket and donated it back to the children and youth funds.

As there was no further business to come before the meeting, Chaplin Margie Stone read the prayer fro peace and President Linda Youngbluth adjourned the meeting.
