Greer Post #11 American Legion held its monthly meeting on February 18, 2021 at the Post Home. Commander Robert Kucera called the members to attention. Chaplain Donald Kotab gave the invocation, which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The Preamble to the Constitution of the American Legion was recited by all members.

Adjutant Rados read the minutes of the January meeting, which were approved as read.

Committee reports were given as follows: Dan Gruenwald distributed a financial report for the month of January to members, which was approved as given. Americanism: Don Kotab reported he has filed his annual report. Don is working with the Wagner School to get Boys staters and Dana Sanderson is helping with scholarships. Taylor Mohr is helping with the Youth Trooper Program.

Commander Kucera reported Bingo started out slow the first week, but picked up the second week. There should be six more Bingo Sundays at 1 p.m.

Service Officer: Merle Stone gave sick call and relief. Adjutant Rados reported all American Legion sweepstakes tickets have been sold.

Jerald Ehrisman was chosen as Greer Post #11 Legionnaire of the year. He will go on to compete in District 8's spring meeting March 13, location to be announced later.

It was decided to start having a meal before our monthly meeting beginning in April with the meal to be at 7 p.m. and the meeting at 8 p.m.

A motion was made to donate $50 to the After Prom Committee.

Go-Getter Pins were distributed to several members who have renewed or got new members.

Several Honor Guard members were presented Department Commander, Fred Nelson Cap Pins.

It was reported you should take your DD214 when you get your Driver's License renewed. They will put you are a veteran on your Driver's License. That will get you into National Parks.

Chaplain Kotab gave the final prayer. The meeting was adjourned in due form.
