GRAVATT, MARCH 2020 MILLIE E. OLSON AWARD RECIPIENT
Congratulations Sheryl Gravatt, the March 2020 Millie E. Olson Award Recipient!
It takes great commitment to stick with anything for three decades, but that is exactly what Sheryl Gravatt has done with her role at Lake Andes Senior Living. For nearly thirty years, she has served her residents with care and empathy.
She began her years of service as a Certified Nurse Aide, took on the role of Activities Coordinator, and is currently the center’s Dietary Manager. In each of these important roles, she has always made it her first priority to ensure that she is helping whoever is in need.
Her dedication to the residents is clear for all to see. Her colleague who nominated her for this award, described Sheryl as “exceptional” and praised her “hopeful, positive attitude.”
Her incredible work has improved the lives of residents at Lake Andes Senior Living for the length of her career. Residents, staff, and families all appreciate her valuable contributions and thank her for all she does.
Congratulations Sheryl, you are a very deserving recipient of the March 2020 Millie E. Olson Award!
The Millie E. Olson Award was created by the South Dakota Health Care Association (SDHCA) and named after its first recipient, Mildred E. Olson of Garretson, who was an exceptional caregiver. This award is open to staff of any SDHCA member center. Each month’s recipient of the Millie E. Olson Award becomes eligible for the Millie E. Olson Award of the Year, which is announced each September at an awards ceremony during SDHCA’s Fall Convention.
