From Grandma's Recipe Box

This week’s recipe once again comes from my Grandma Norma’s Ober Family Favorites Cookbook. This recipe was submitted to the family cookbook by my grandma’s sister-in-law, Mildred Holec of Yankton. It is one that I have not yet tried myself, but after reading it thought it sounded yummy. I thought it was very appropriate for this time of year as it is a very veggie forward type of side dish, with popular garden vegetables.

Vegetable Salad 1 head of cauliflower 1 small container of cherry tomatoes 1 green pepper 1 avocado 2 cucumbers

Slice and dice up the veggies to the size that you would prefer.

Sauce:

2 cups of mayo ½ cup sour cream ½ cup horseradish (drained)

1 tsp Ac’cent (seasoning) ½ tsp dry mustard

1 Tbsp lemon juice Salt and pepper to taste.

Mix the sauce together and pour over diced vegetables. Refrigerate the dish for 3-4 hours before serving. Serve and Enjoy!
