Lake Andes will be hosting the Annual Fish Day Celebration. The celebration will begin Friday, June 2 with the Miss Fish Day Queen Pageant and the Little Miss Fishy Pageant. The pageant will be held at the Andes Central High School Gym at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2. This year the Miss Fish Day Pageant will be host to four contestants. The contestants are: Aubrey Gray, Aubrey is the daughter of Rob and Nicki Gray. Aubrey will be a Senior at Andes Central High School. Aubrey is being sponsored by Gray Wolf Construction.

Ellani Aungie, Ellani is the granddaughter Colleen Fox and Darrel Dion. Ellani be a Freshmen at Andes Central. Ellani is being sponsored by the Native American Resource Center.

Riata Bultje, Riata is the daughter of Brice and Darci Bultje. Riata will be a senior at Andes Central High School. Riata is sponsored by Andes State Bank.

Lori Decora, Lori is the granddaughter of Pam Hein. Lori will be a junior at Andes Central High School. Lori being is sponsored by Hein Law Office.

Nevaeh Morgan, Nevaeh is the daughter of Brian Morgan Sr. Nevaeh will be a senior at Andes Central High School. Nevaeh is being sponsored by Bures-Kronaizl Insurance Company.

Hannah Tronvold, Hannah is the daughter of Kevin and Jolyn Tronvold. Hannah will be a senior at Andes Central High School. Hannah is being sponsored by Cahoy’s General Store.

The pageant committee is also very excited to announce that they have fifteen contestants running for Little Miss Fishy. This year’s contestants are: Tessa Nielsen, Keilani Fast Horse, Madelyn Ronfeldt, Suttyn Bergin, Karliah Mae Archambeau, Onyx Gallegos, Cheryl Romero, Char’lee Romero, Emma Johanneson, Bella Johanneson, Taryn Bennet, Ella Swanson, Shaniya Aungie, Leila Aungie, Emma Carpio and Kourtney Svatos.

The 2023 Fish Day Committee invites the community to come Friday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. to see which lovely young lady will be crowned the 2023 Miss Fish Day Queen and which spunky little gal will be our 2023 Lil’ Miss Fishy.
