The final “Cruisin Main” was held Sunday, May 31st. We appreciate all the people who participated for the last six weeks.

The popularity of the weekly meeting of friends from a social distance has brought about the following event to soften the pain of NO FISH DAYS in 2020.

A group of Lake Andes residents have decided to host a “parade of sorts” with the theme “Fish Days 2020 The One That Got Away” (thanks Renae Gasper and Sam Fredrick). The parade of vehicles will be held Saturday, June 6th beginning at 6:30. Remember to social distance during the event. It would be great if posters using the theme were displayed on vehicles. Line-up will be across from Lake Andes Building Center. Vehicles will parade only up and down Main Street and Boulevard of the city of Lake Andes. We will also parade by the Lake Andes Health Care Center. We invite spectators to line Main Street, the Boulevard and the Health Care Center parking lot to watch.

Watch for Facebook posts and posters promoting Lake Andes businesses and organizations during this “parade”. We hope for a great show of participant vehicles and also remember it isn’t a parade if we don’t have spectators.
