Located on the shores of the Missouri River just above Fort Randall Dam, North Point Recreation Area provides a spectacular river view. Northpoint has a dock available year-round at the Spillway LUA for those warmer winter days when you want to get out on the water. Highway 18 is currently closed for construction from September 6, 2022 through May 26, 2023. To access the area, use the detour route of 382nd Ave from the north. There is no road access to the St. Francis swim beach, archery range, or archery trail.
