EIGHTH GRADERS ATTEND CAREER FAIR
Kalee Mixon
As the school year passed the midpoint, the 8th grade careers class was allowed to look at different careers. The 8th grade Career Fair was Thursday, January 20 at the Armory in Wagner. Students got to visit some college reps and explore different career and post-secondary opportunities, for example the military. Kate Swier said, “It was fascinating to see all the professions and colleges.” Law enforcement, medical clinic, and the physical therapy booth were all there.
Hope Kemnitz said, “It was really cool to learn about the jobs!”
Ms. Saddi Wynia, the career teacher, said, “The 8th graders enjoyed going, and they learned a lot from the experience.”
