Senior Spotlight- Sandy Eben- she likes chili soup, daydreaming and reading. 85 Years Ago – 1939 The members of the First Presbyterian Church served a dinner Sunday in honor of the new minister and wife, Rev and Mrs. Bullock. About 100 were in attendance. A pantry shower was also held. Glen Peterson had his car stolen while in Utica when he was in a restaurant. While coasting at the sleighing party, Clarence Haywood ran into a tree stump and got some cuts on his face. The 8th grade pupils surprised their teacher, Miss Amelia Weldenbach on her birthday. Ice cream and cake were served. 110 Years Ago – 1914 The 6th graders had a heated debate Tuesday. The question was: Who was the greatest man, Lincoln or Washington? The Ladies Aid of the Presbyterian Church came out well on their supper. A meeting to organize a baseball team will be Friday at 8:00 at the City Hall.
