10 Years Ago - April 24, 2013 Ava Johnson's wish came true to swim with dolphins as the family was given a trip to Florida by Buche Foods. The Ava Johnson Benefit excelled expectations helping the family with raising over $40,000 to help with medical and traveling expenses. Another Spring storm hit the area leaving over four inches of wet snow. 35 Years Ago - Apr. 1988 There was an open house at Meadowview Manor. The Manor was built in 1980 and opened for residents in June 1981. Funeral services were held for Ada Mensch and the Lutheran Church.
