Tom Oster, former Avon educator was inducted into South Dakota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Hall of Fame.

Avon Archery team placed third at the State Archery Tournament this past weekend in Rapid City.

Track season begins with achilly Scotland Meet. Placing first at the meet were: Medley Relay - Jonah Sturgeon, Devin Tolsma, Brandon Kocmich and Logan Powers; Girl's Medley Relay - Emily Mudder, Amanda Reiff, Cheylee Nagel and Chesney Nagel; Girls 1600 Meter Relay - Heidi Cap, Cheylee Nagel, Kacie Mudder and Chesney Nagel.
