Tom Oster, former Avon educator was inducted into South Dakota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Hall of Fame.

Placing first at the meet were: Medley Relay - Jonah Sturgeon, Devin Tolsma, Brandon Kocmich and Logan Powers; Girl's Medley Relay - Emily Mudder, Amanda Reiff, Cheylee Nagel and Chesney Nagel; Girls 1600 Meter Relay - Heidi Cap, Cheylee Nagel, Kacie Mudder and Chesney Nagel.
