The Young Stockman’s 4-H Club are selling Cheese Gift Boxes for Christmas gifts.

Judy Dilts has been appointed Officer-in-charge of the Avon Post Office.

The girl’s basketball team won their opener with a surprise to the Freeman Team. The game went into Overtime ending with a score of 61-55.

Patrolman Harold Hoffman has been assigned to Bon Homme County.

Mary Roth and Wilber Bauder were married on Nov. 9th at the Zion Lutheran Church.

THE NOVA LITE Avon is planning to have a pep band at the basketball games this year under the direction of Miss Larsen. The first game is at Scotland.

The Junior Play will be “A Manhattan Honeymoon.” Home Ec. I will give a luncheon for the faculty. Home Ec. II will give a dinner for the School Board.
