DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE

By
Dr. James Schirtzinger

MATTHEW 9:20,21,22,20) "And behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came up behind him (Jesus) and touched the hem of his garment: 21) For she said within herself, if I may touch his garment, I will be whole. 22) But Jesus turned Him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole."(KJV)

MATTHEW 9: 28,29,30,28)

"And when he (Jesus) was come into the house, the blind men came to him: Jesus saith unto them believe that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29)Then touched he their eyes, saying, according to your faith be it unto you.30) And their eyes were opened: and Jesus straightway charged them , saying, see that no man knoweth it."(KJV)

These are just two miracles that Jesus did for the asking. But the success of their cure--both the woman and the blind men was to come to pass only if they believed in him or had faith in him.

Today we find many people who have problems and they go about trying to fix their problem unsuccessfully. Their problem is not their problem--their problem is lack of faith.

Some will ask the Lord for help but their asking is in words only and not in true faith--believing that the Lord will answer--causing Him not to answer.

How strong is your faith? God will fix your problem as he did for those faithful people mentioned in the Bible.

When was the last time you truly believed that God would answer your request? Did you ask for something knowing that only God could provide it for you? Did you ask for something that when you received it from God--you not only thanked Him--but shared how the Lord provided your answer?

Those in the Bible whose faith allowed them to be healed of their problems went about telling everybody how their healing came about because of Jesus. They were blessed because of their faith in Him.

Always have faith in God--the more you exercise your faith in Him--the more you will receive His blessings.

Do you really believe He will do for you what you ask?
