The annual District 8 Fall Meeting of the South Dakota AmericanLegionwillbeheldSunday,October22,inSpringfield for Legionnaires from Yankton, Douglas, Clay, Charles Mix, Bon Homme and Turner counties.

A social will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by the Legion business session which will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Springfield American Legion Post Home.

State Commander Courtney Steffen will conduct the meetingandwilloutlineher“PURSUEPURPOSE”program for the 2023 - 2024 American Legion year.

The District 8 Auxiliary will hold its meeting at 1:00 p.m.
