Meet Bree Kotab the new owner of B-Lou’s Bar in Dante. New ownership was established June 1, 2023 of the bar formerly known as Gordo's.

Bree states 'This bar has been in my family for 31 years now and I’m ecstatic that I was able to keep it within our family! My grandparents Mike and Leona Kotab ran the bar “Mike’s Place” from 1992-2010. My uncle Gordy Kotab ran “Gordos” from 2010-2023 and as of this month we are now on the third generation.'

When asked how she came up with the name she said 'My grandma and grandpa always called me B-Lou growing up and when I was thinking of names my mom brought that up and it just stuck!'

They will be open 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. Monday - Saturday and 11:00 a.m. - 12 a.m. on Sundays and will be serving pizzas and sandwiches She has big plans for the place her goal is to fully remodel the bathroom and give everything else a face lift to hopefully attract more eyes.

The grand opening of B-Lou's Bar will be at the beginning of August sometime with a bean bag tournament and ribs. Watch for details.
