Dante City Board Members congratulated seven businesses, with ribbon cuttings, that have been established within the last few years and are operating successfully in Dante. Thank you for participating in this special event on August 26.
DANTE AG & TIRE was established in August 2021. Owners are Tyler & McKayla Krcil and Travis & Jenna Krcil. These Krcil brothers, having Ag in their careers, saw an opportunity to own a shop in their home town. Along with raising young families, their wives help serving the customers with many tire services, oil changes, fuel, fertilizer, custom spraying & interior vehicle detailing. These two families work long hours to serve their customers & appreciate their loyalty & friendship.
H/2 HONEY CO. was established in August, 2018 by Alex Hollmann. In early 2019, Brandy, Alex's wife, joined in selling & advertising their honey products. All their honey products are made locally in SE Charles Mix Co. They produce 12 oz. Bears, 3 lb. jugs raw honey, 16 oz. regular & cinnamon spun honey, comb honey & straws of honey. These products are sold in several local stores & also thru Alex, Brandy & Family in Dante.
KOTAB KLEANING, Joel & Amy Kotab, owners, was established as a carpet cleaning business in 2012. They soon added air duct cleaning & sealing LVCT. About 6 years ago they started refinishing wood floors. Growing their family business has been an enjoyable adventure in serving their clients with their services.
DK FLOORING was established by Dan Kotab in 2013. Dan provided floor installation and floor covering purchases. As business increased, Dan took on a partner in 2019, Terry Woodbeck. In 2020, they built a building on Main Street of Dante. DK Flooring & Customs offers a large variety of floor coverings along with installation. 7 OAKS FARM, Ed Collier, owner, established in 2023 strives to provide flavorful, nutrient-dense sustainably grown fruits, vegetables & poultry products. Seasonal breads, jams & pickling items.
Incorporating organic principles, with a plan to grow year-round will ensure healthy and sustainable food is available to our community.
