CUB SCOUTS SELL AND PLANT TREES

By

During the month of April, the Wagner Cub Scout Pack 261 partnered with the Charles Mix Conservation District to sell trees and plants to the community. This fundraiser helps support the scouts to attend camps this fall at the Lewis and Clark Scout Camp. A total of $480 was raised for the camps in June. On April 23, the scouts visited the Charles Mix Conservation District to help bag the trees they sold, learn more about conservation, and tour the facility and equipment. The Conservation District provided a pizza party and each scout received a Black Hills Spruce to grow at home.
