These last few weeks, the Lady Pirates hosted the Parkston Trojans and the AC/DC Thunder to start off their season. They also traveled to Tripp to play the Nighthawks, and Alcester to take on the Cubs. On Tuesday, August 29th the Lady Pirates took on the Trojans, but fell short by just a few points in the fifth set. The Lady Pirates took the victory against AC/DC, beating them in 3 sets. They beat Tripp in four sets. Lastly, the Lady Pirates fought hard to beat the Cubs, but fell short by two points. The Lady Pirates will host Scotland and Wagner next week for homecoming.
