The Red Raiders football season came to an end Thursday, November 20th. With a 17-6 defeat to Aberdeen Roncali. The overall season record fell to 6-3.

Offensively this season the Red Raiders were led by a two headed monster in Jhett Breen and Gannon Knebel who nearly combined for 2,000 yards. Senior Jhett Breen accumulated 1008 rushing yards with 13 rushing touchdowns. He also chipped in 3 receiving touchdowns and one kick-return for a touchdown. Sophomore QB Gannon Knebel rushed for 970 yards and 12 touchdowns. Knebel also contributed 642 yards and8scoresthroughtheair.Among those receiving touchdowns were Hunter Lhotak, Karstyn Lhotak, Carlos Galindo, Javian Pesicka, Shea Kjeldgaard and Dan Soukup. All of this of course powered behind an outstanding offensive line group. Takes a special group up front to get this kind of output, paving the roads for the Raiders for over 2,000 combined rushing yards! Among this group you have seniors Braxton Knudson and Tim Bouza. Juniors, Parker Petry and Kahle Hill. Sophomore Kobe Drapeau, and 8th grader Bennet Kuhlman. You cannot say enough words to give the offensive line the credit they deserve. This was a special group of men doing the dirty work on the field!

Defensively this season the Red Raiders were led by Senior Linebacker Bain Kuhlman who contributed in 44 tackles/ 2 tackles for loss/ and 3 sacks. Defensive end Parker Petry was dominant with 28 tackles/ 16 tackles for loss/ 5 sacks. Karstyn Lhotak had 37 tackles/ 2 tackles for loss/ 1 interception. Kahle Hill had 42 tackles/ 8 tackles for loss/ 1 sack. Braxton Knudson had 5 tackles for loss/ 3 sacks. Gannon Knebel had 40 tackles/ 9 tackles for loss/ 1 sack. Carlos Galindo led the team with 2 interceptions. This defense also holds claim to two incredible goal line stands on the one yard line. One against MVP, another to keep Roncali out of the end-zone in the playoffs.

We appreciate a special group of senior men for all their contributions this season. A group of leaders any coach would dream to have! Among those players are Dan Soukup, Karstyn Lhotak, Jhett Breen, Bain Kuhlman, Jace Kuhlman, Tim Bouza and Braxton Knudson.
