COMMUNITY SHOWS THEIR SUPPORT ON SOC DAY

SOC day was Thursday, May 12th. Several community members, business members from South Dakota as well as other states participated in SOC Day. Individuals participated by “SHOWING YOUR SOCKS TO SHOW YOU CARE”, as well as “SOCING, which is positively act of sharing a pair of silly socks to show you care about their mental health and overall well-being. Individuals shared their photos using #sillySOCday.

In conjunction with Mental Health May, the SOC team wrote encouraging notes with positively stickers. SOC members Ericka Kotab and Connie Kaufman hand delivered some of these notes to Wagner Community School and Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera staff on SOC Day.
