Avon musicians performed at their last concert of the year on April 28. The choir and band students performed songs that are well-known. At the Pops Concert some of the choir students sang solos, duets, or ensembles.

For the band portion of the concert they performed three songs: “Beauty and the Beast” arranged by Calvin Cluster, “Take on Me'' arranged by Paul Murtha, and “Guardians of the Galaxy” arranged by Michael Brown.

The individual and choir portion of the concert was a bit more extensive. Piano Solo:

To follow those selections Mrs. Schultz and Ms. Larsgaard had a speech to the seniors of the band and choir. The seniors are Haden Cahoy, Rachael DeJong, Kiara Driesen, Reece Loewe, Tiffany Pelton, Katie Gretschmann, Makayla Kopp, and Haleigh Tjeerdsma.

The High School Choir wrapped up the evening with three song selections: “Africa” arranged by David Paich and Jeff Porcaro; “Journey to the Past” arranged by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty; and “Bella’s Finals” arranged by Mark Brymer.
