The Commercial State Bank of Wagner has announced our high school scholarship program, which provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors in our local community.

The recipients will all attend post-secondary South Dakota institutions of higher learning, and this year the Commercial State Bank is pleased to be able to give two $1,000 scholarships and two $500 scholarships.

The two recipients of a $1,000 Scholarships sponsored by the Commercial State Bank of Wagner are:

• Kallen Kafka of Wagner. Kallen plans to attend SDSU, Brookings to major in Animal Science. Kallen is the son of Jay and Kim Kafka.

• Jaden Peters of Wagner. Jaden plans to attend SDSU or Northern State University, to major in Biology / Pre-mortuary. Jaden is the son of Chad and Lisa Peters.

The two recipients of a $500 Scholarships sponsored by the Commercial State Bank of Wagner are:

• Skyler Kourt of Wagner. Skyler plans to attend USD, Vermillion to major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Skyler is the daughter of Dustin Kourt and Trista Kourt.

• Bradyn Lhotak of Wagner. Bradyn plans to attend Mitchell Tech, Mitchell to major in Agriculture Business. Bradyn is the son of Brad and Jen Lhotak.
