The Charles Mix Co Republican Women had their first meeting of the year January 10. The meeting was held at StarBanks Coffee Shop in Platte with 28 in attendance. Senator Rocky Blare, Representative Caleb Finck, Representative and House Majority Leader Lee Qualm and newly appointed Representative for District 19 Marty Overweg all spoke giving insight for the upcoming session. Each talked of bills they are sponsoring and important issues to be watching for. After the meeting the legislators stayed for questions and discussion.
