This week’s Classroom of the Week is the kindergarten class. The kindergarten teacher is Mrs. Kocmich. In a typical day, she is very busy. She has many different kinds of activities throughout the day to keep the class actively involved in their learning. One of Mrs. Kocmich’s favorite memories so far this school year is winning 1st place in the homecoming parade with her class. Every year she looks forward to watching her kids grow and learn. Mrs. Kocmich says “It is amazing what they learn to do in a year.” Mrs. Kocmich was K-1st grade teacher in Bon Homme for 7 yrs. and has been a kindergarten teacher for 17 yrs. in Avon. Outside of school, she enjoys going on walks, spending time with family, and looking for new and exciting activities to do in the classroom. Some fun facts about Mrs. Kocmich are: she learned how to make kolaches from her grandma, Margaret Dvoracek, she plays golf, and she loves to decorate.
