This year under the direction of our new Wagner City Finance Administrator, Debbie Houseman, there was a city employee appreciation luncheon held April 17th at Wagner City Hall. Debbie invited the library, police department and city staff to all come and have lunch as a way to show appreciation to all of the deserving city employees. Debbie was also very creative and wrote a little something to acknowledge each employee.

Mike Kazena is the Public Works Director and has been since 2014. Mike is the go-to guy to make certain everything gets done and completes everything with a smile.

Rick Langdeaux is the maintenance/ Armory janitor. Rich has been a part of the city staff since 2020. Rick knows his schedule and everyone knows that if it is on Rick’s list it will get done. He is always willing to do anything that is asked of him.

Matt Foley is the street superintendent and has been with the city since 2022. Matt does a wonderful job in a supportive effort on projects and has a good ability to help plan for future projects.

Mark Soukup is a maintenance employee. He has been with the city since 2022. His fellow co-workers appreciate his grumpy personality and his commitment to staying busy. Mark is the go-to if one wants to know what the city should do next.

Marilee Krcil is the deputy finance officer. She has been with the city since 2010. Marilee is the office angel. Marilee has vast knowledge of the functions of the city with a flare of spunk that keeps the office on track; she is also very versatile and can fill in anywhere.

Kesa Alexander is the city clerk/ Planning and Zoning Administrator and has been with the city since 2019. If you want to know something, Kesa is the person to ask, and Debbie is not referring to gossip. Kesa is a very skilled researcher.

Anne Podharasky is the city librarian. Ann has been with the city as the librarian for the past 20 years starting in 2004. Anne has the library running like a welloiled engine. She pays meticulous attention to detail and has created a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere at the library.

Nancy Reinbold, has served the city in total for 20 years. Nancy has been working at the library since 2013. Nancy performs her librarian duties with a pleasant disposition that is unmatched.

Margaret Doom is the Executive Director of Wagner Area Growth. Margaret is relatively new to her position, recently completing 6 months of employment. Wagner is very lucky to have lassoed Margaret into this very important position. Margaret has the wonderful ability to get things accomplished and look outside of the box for the bigger picture.

Damon Griffith is the police chief and has served the City of Wagner since 2021. Damon runs a tight ship and works hard to create a progressive atmosphere in the police department.

Cam Fields is a police officer who has been with the city since 2022. Cam always presents himself in a professional manner and has worked hard to create a great relationship with the people of the Wagner community.

Eli Kuhlman is a police officer that has served since 2021. Eli has persevered through thick and thin with the City of Wagner.

Sienna Conlon is a police officer that has just recently joined the Wagner Police Department. Even though she is just getting started, one can already tell that she is going to be amazing at her job.

Matt Williams is the IT guy for the City of Wagner and just recently started in February of 2023. Artificial intelligence does not have anything up on this guy. The office can always depend on Matt to get the internet and computers up and working.

Lastly, Kesa and Marilee wrote one on their boss, Debbie.

Debbra Houseman has been the fearless leader of the City of Wagner office since July of 2023. Since taking the reins of the office, they have not had so many laughs, a positive atmosphere and clear direction of where the office is headed. Debbra has an open-door policy and will stand behind any one of her employees. Debbra has Wagner headed in a great direction and Wagner is lucky to have Debbie as an employee.
