Charles Mix VFW Auxiliary #3239 met Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Five members were present. Pro Tem Officers were appointed.

President Carla called the meeting to order with Opening Prayer. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call of Officers was given.

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. General Orders #8 and Mary's Notes were read. Treasurer's Report was read and filed for audit. Presentation of Bills included Kitchen Chairman and Groceries. Audit for January-February-March was conducted prior to the meeting.

Committee Reports: Kitchen Chairman--Susan Schultz reported on the CMCLRO Lake Restoration Banquet that was held March 23, 2019. Lakers Club luncheon for April was held on the 3rd. Hospital--Carla Pesicka reported on her visits at the Nursing Home.

New Business: Election of Officers--Nominations were opened. President - Carla Pesicka; Sr. Vice - Ardie Lantz; Jr. Vice - Sabrina Pesicka; Treasurer - Susan Schultz; Chaplain - Ginny Konyek; Conductress - Marilyn Larson; Guard #1 - Sally Kirwan; Trustee #3 - Rose Bucholz. Marilyn Larson moves to Trustee #2 and Ginny Konyek moves to Trustee #1. Carol Blaha was appointed Secretary and Ardie Lantz was appointed Patriotic Instructor.

Donation was made to VFW National Home for Children. Donation made to Joe and Toni Svatos to help with medical expenses.

Delegates and Alternates for Department Convention and National Convention were appointed.

Report of Trustees: Audit report was read. Motion made by Susan Schultz, seconded by Ginny Konyek that the bills be allowed and the audit report accepted. Motion carried.

Coin March was $6.00. Meeting closed According to Ritual. Next meeting will be the 3rd Thursday in May. Sue Schultz won the door prize.
