The two $1000.00 scholarships were presented by Commander Merritt Stegmeier to Avery Schacht (center) and Jaiden Longe (right). The Scholarships were presented at the Andes Central High School Academic Awards Assembly, held Monday, May 3rd. Avery plans to attend South Dakota State University majoring in Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. Jaiden plans to attend Dakota State University in Madison, majoring in Biology and ultimately go into the medical field. Courtesy Photo
