Since there had been a large pause in meeting there was no Old Business to discuss.

Under New Business, it was suggested that at the next meeting, the Junior Leaders should elect officers for the club.

A discussion was had on what the goal of Junior Leadership and what projects would be worthy of the club’s time. In the brainstorming session 5 topics were uncovered: Supporting the Community Garden, Fund Raising to hep support the homeless, Community Service in cleaning up public areas used by the community, Save the Wildlife, and hosting a Farm Safety Day.

Ag-Olympics for this year were decided to be Speed Milking, Holey Bucket Race, Trike Race, and Chicken Herding. The finale to Ag-Olympics will be Piein-the-Face where the winners get to throw whip cream pies at the 4-H Youth Program Advisor’s Face. Additional tickets will be sold for those that wish to take in on the fun. Emery Bultje moved to approve the Ag-Olympics and Lexi Schoemfelder seconded.

The next meeting for the Junior Leaders will be August 2, 2021, 6:30 p.m. at the 4-H Center.

Lexi Schoenfelder moved that the meeting be adjourned, and Callie Bergin seconded.
