The September Chamber Meeting was held September 10 at Buche’s Admin Building.

Approval of Financial Report: First: Katie, Second: Becky

Approval of Minutes: First: Barb, Second: Craig

Crazy Days Recap: Went really well. The turn out was great. Looking at setting the time back to until 5:00 to run until 7:00. The businesses said they had great results. Shout out Mel Juffer for cleaning up a lot of the trash. Shout out Scott Pechous for helping clean up.

Labor Day: there was a lot of positive feedback on the festival in the park. The carnival was great. The dance didn’t have the greatest turnout. Overall, the general feedback was that everyone had a great time.

Summer Slam: Will be Saturday September 15th from 5pm-1am at the teener baseball field. There will be live music, beanbag tournament, concession stands, beer garden, etc. This is a pool fundraiser.

Rooster Rush: On October 20th, Kelsey will set up a table in the morning at the Wagner Lakeside Motel and hand out hats and goodies, which were donated, to hunters coming in.

RASDAK 2019: Race Across South Dakota, there are about 200 cyclists from 30 different states that participate. They will be coming through on Friday June 7th, 2019 and will stay overnight. Kelsey is looking for ideas and/or help to put together an event to be held that night. Committee volunteers: Jeff, Allsion, Becky, Kelsey, CSB, Wagner Hospital.

Chamber dues: the fee schedule will be finished next month.

The Wellness Consortium: will be holding the Monster Dash & Bash on October 27th. Chamber has historically donated $100 chamber dollars to give out to the winners for their contests. Kelsey made a motion to give them $150 for prizes, seconded by Jeff. Motioned passed.

Jill is working on the fall vendor show and is looking for committee members, contact her if interested.
