The Lady Pirates traveled to Tyndall Saturday to compete in the Cavalier Clash. The Pirates started their day facing off against Vermillion with the win 2-1. Courtney Sees led on the attack with 13 kills and 12 digs; Lila Vanderlei had 9 kills, 1 block assist and 2 ace serves; McKenna Kocmich had 1 ace serve and 25 set assists; Jordyn Voigt had 14 digs; Macy Voigt had 8 digs and Kaeili Wallinga had 1 block assist. The Pirates next took on Alcester/Hudson where they took the win 2-1. Sees had 9 kills, 24 digs, 1 block and 2 ace serves; Lila Vanderlei had 6 kills and 1 block; Rilyn Thury had 3 kills; Kocmich had 15 digs and 18 set assists; Jordyn Voigt had 2 ace serves and 11 digs; Macy Voigt had 1 ace serve and 9 digs. The Lady Pirates next met up with Corsica/Stickney and took the quick win 2-0. Sees put down 11 kills, 8 digs and 2 ace serves; Lila Vanderlei had 3 kills and 6 digs; Grace Vanderlei had 3 kills; Jordyn Voigt had 14 digs and Kocmich tallied up 16 set assists and had 6 digs. The final game of the Clash found the Pirates facing off against Parkston where they suffered the loss 2-1. Sees had 8 kills; Thury had 5 kills; Lila Vanderlei had 4 kills; Jordyn Voigt had 17 digs; Kocmich had 13 digs and 19 set assists; Kaeli Wallinga had 1 block. The Pirates hosted Scotland September 14th where they took the win 3-0. Kocmich had 3 ace serves, 11 digs and 19 set assists; Macy Voigt had 2 ace serves; Jordyn Voigt had 1 ace serve and 14 digs; Sees had 11 kills and 10 digs; Lila Vanderlei had 5 kills and 2 assist blocks and 1 solo block; Wallinga had 4 kills, and Kinley Doom had 2 assist blocks. Avon hosted the Wagner Raiders on September 12 where they suffered the tough loss 0-3. Sees had 1 ace serve, 8 kills and 10 digs; Kocmich had 1 ace serve and 18 set assists; Jordyn Voigt had 1 ace serve and 12 digs; Lila and Lexi Vanderlei each had 12 digs for the night.
