Team Buche Cares have proven once again they can bring their "A" game when it comes to raising funds for a good cause. "I'm humbled and very fortunate to work with such a good group of people that truly goes above and beyond to help our friends and neighbors" stated RF Buche, President of GF Buche Company.

The goal was to exceed $20,000 but this year was the best ever totaling $39,083.91. 17 different pantries along with Fighting Local Cancer and Underdog Scholarships were the nonprofit organizations who will be receiving the funds.

20 different GF Buche Co. locations participated in the event where customers and team members were asked to donate to their local or favorite nonprofit. RF Buche matched dollar for dollar up to $500 on each nonprofit.

Since the fundraiser began, dozens cancer patients have been helped, hundreds of people have been fed and hundreds of thousands of dollars have been given away in scholarships of students who may not have had a chance to go to college. 100% of funds raised through Team Buche Cares is given back to those in need. "We have no administrative fees. If we can help someone in the local community with some of the financial pressure whether it be cancer related, scholarships or feeding the hungry, then it makes it all worthwhile" stated RF Buche.

Locally the Buche Foods in Wagner raised $5,287.29 to fight Cancer Locally, $6,096.77 was raised for the UnderDog Scholarship. $1,309.51 was raised for the Marty Food Bank and $1,688.36 was raised for the Wagner Food Pantry. $1132.00 was raised for the Native American Community Board and $1,418.94 was raised for Rural Office of Community services.

We appreciate all of our generous donations from our local community and surrounding communities! It sure feels great to be able to help so many in need! Please consider donating next year when we hold our yearly drive!
