On Monday, August 15th the Wagner boys’ varsity golf team competed in the West Central Early Bird Invitational. In the first competitive event of the year the boys battled the cold and rain for most of the day. The boys competed against some of the best golfers in class A and finished as follows.

Colby Krcil 67th place, Matt Link 73rd place, Christian Doom 79th place, and Corbin Carda finished in 83rd place. This was a great learning experience for the young golf team and will be something to build off as the season progresses.
